Tom: Backstage here in New Orleans at Monday Night Raw and I am joined by my newest broadcast colleague from the Raw Pre-Show on the WWE Network, David Otunga. Davi…
Otunga: Heeey, how are you? I'm fantastic, I'm happy to be here! You know I've been through on the Raw Pre-Show, but now I feel like it's time to spread my wings, and my wings I mean the lads, coming to join you on commentary.
Tom: I love it, man! You were just were doing a WWE Superstars with me, as many of you know, it gets taped right before Monday Night Raw, and then Main Event will air Wednesday's on Hulu, so what are you looking forward to most of our commentary?
Otunga: I'm really just showing what I can do, getting out there, and having fun and calling the match cuz I mean at the end of the day, I'm a member of the WWE Universe. I'm a fan! You know.. just love it and when you got out there and you see what the guys are out bringing.
Tom: You've done so much, you've been a 2-time WWE Tag Team Champion, you were part of The Nexus, one of the most dangerous factions in WWE history, and you were part of a certain regime, I won't point but we'll look past that… What do you think you offer….
Otunga: You mean that uh… People Power??
Tom: It might be, you know.
Otunga: Which was the most successful administration in the history of WWE.. You know we won a WrestleMania match where I was the captain.. Team Johnny! John Laurinaitis! Big Johnny! Yeah, but you know, I was part of People Power, I was in The Nexus, I'm a 2-time tag team champion… Most people don't know this but John Cena was my tag team partner. I did all the work to win the titles and then he tried to take the credit… but that's what John Cena does. I digress.
Tom: David, I can't wait to having you on commentary with us and I'm sure that you're thrilled to be away from Corey Graves.
Otunga: That is definitely true! Definitely happy to be away from Graves!
