Sports reporters can get annoying. Repetitive questions, questions that go off-topic, and intrusive questions are just a few of the ways that athletes can get mistreated during an interview and press conference. In some cases, the athlete finally stands up for themselves and puts the reporter in their place.

Michael Strahan has not always been the lovable talk show host we see on a daily basis. While playing for the New York Giants he was a strong and hard-hitting leader. Serena Williams spends a lot of time on the tennis court and at the end of the day, the last thing she wants to deal with is repetitive reporters and dumb questions. Bryce Harper joined the MLB at a young age, creating a huge dilemma when it comes to drinking and celebrating. That didn’t stop a reporter from asking him about it. Russell Westbrook can always lead the Thunder, but don’t ask him about his time on the team’s bench because it can set him off in a huge tirade. Derek Anderson not only suffered a huge blowout on Monday Night Football, but he was heavily criticized for laughing on the sidelines and there were smiles when he blew up at a reporter for it. Vince McMahon went on the Bob Costas show to defend his company and he almost turned the interview into a WWE match. Losing early in the NCAA tournament is tough, but dealing with the reporters afterward may be even worse. Andy Murray defends female players when he is asked a question featuring casual sexism. Ronda Rousey is often getting questioned about being a female fighter and she knows quick and smart ways to shut those reporters down.
